Students may earn a M.A. degree in Textile History with an emphasis in quilt studies in a traditional residential graduate program or via a distance learning hybrid program. Several students in the program describe their experiences in a recent article by "Quilter's Newsletter Magazine" .

Academic Home

The Department of Textiles, Clothing and Design, academic home to the International Quilt Study Center & Museum, enjoys national recognition for the quality of its faculty and for its textile programs. The Department, located in the College of Education & Human Sciences, was ranked among the top five programs in the country by the Clothing and Textiles Research Journal (1996).
