Adult programs at the International Quilt Study Center & Museum seek to inspire and enlighten. From informal lunchtime sessions and guided tours to lectures featuring world-class scholars, visitors are able to explore the world of quilts as deeply as they wish.
Public Docent Tours are available to individual visitors on Wednesdays at 11 am and Saturdays at 11 am and 1 pm. Free with admission. Reservations not required.
Curator-led exhibition tours are offered on occasion. Free with admission. Reservations not required.
Tuesday Talks are lunchtime sessions on a variety of quilt topics led by IQSC staff and invited speakers. Bring a bagged lunch and discover something new! Free with admission. Reservations not required.
Quilt ID Days offer a unique opportunity to learn about a quilt of your own. Curators and volunteers identify fabrics and patterns, help to assign a date, and can attach identifying information to your quilt so that no matter where your quilt winds up, someone will know its story. Cost is $7 per quilt ($5 per quilt for members). Reservations required. To make a reservation, call (402) 472-6549.
