The International Quilt Study Center & Museum is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of 33rd and Holdrege Streets. Enter off 33rd Street. Parking is north of the building (west of the fire station). Parking is free in the entire lot north of the building (not just those spots specifically reserved for museum visitors). Jot down your license plate number to note at the admissions desk.
(NOTE: In Lincoln numbered streets increase from from west to east. The lettered streets start with A in the near south area of the city and progress north to the end of the alphabet. O Street is traditionally considered the primary east-west thoroughfare, running from each edge of the city through the downtown area. So, north-south street numbers start at O Street. Example: 1523 N. 33rd Street is 15 blocks NORTH of O Street on 33rd Street.)

- Take Cornhusker Highway east to 33rd Street, about 3.6 miles.
- Turn south (right) onto 33rd Street to Holdrege Street.

Directions from Interstate 80:
- Exit on 27th Street, Exit 403.
- Take 27th Street south to Holdrege Street, about 4.7 miles.
- Turn east (left) onto Holdrege Street and continue east to 33rd Street.

Transportation and Lodging
- Local Transportation Taxis are available, but moderately expensive. Many visitors find that renting a car is the most convenient and satisfactory option.
- Air Travel - Lincoln The Lincoln Municipal Airport is located 20 minutes from the International Quilt Study Center. Lincoln is served by a number of airlines with connecting flights to many major cities. Call 402-474-2770 for daily schedules.
- Air Travel - Omaha Eppley Airfield is located five minutes from downtown Omaha and an hour from Lincoln. Twelve major airlines provide travelers with an efficient means of reaching distant destinations, with approximately 180 flights daily. Shuttle service between the Omaha and Lincoln airports is provided by the Eppley Express (800.888.9793) or OmaLink (402-475-5465).
